Rodeo

A couple of weekends ago, we went to the rodeo here in town.  Before the rodeo started, they had pony rides and a petting zoo.

After this, we grabbed some dinner and the rodeo started. I think Annabel's favorite part was watching the Catelina Cowgirls ride horses.  One even had an American flag that shot flames.

Annabel watched nervously, and sometimes couldn't stand to watch.  She wasn't a big fan of the roping and tying up of calves.  Every time one went down, she would say "Oh no, cow" and she would cheer when the calf got back up.  She liked it even better when the cowboys did not catch the cow and would say "cow fast".  

We got to watch Lili and Sam do "Muttin Bustin" (riding sheep as  long as they could hold on).  They both did great, and we had a great time cheering them on.
