We went to Port Aransas last Wednesday and spent 5 nights. We really enjoyed our time there.
The girls loved playing in the condo.
There was a swimming pool at the condo that we swam in at least once a day, sometimes twice. Madison got to where she could really move around the pool. It was deep enough that she couldn't touch, so she wore her life jacket the whole time, but she would jump off and go completely under water. Then she could maneuver anywhere in the pool she wanted to go. Annabel loved jumping off the side and playing with the beach ball.
On Thursday, we went to Corpus Christi to the aquarium.
You will notice that Annabel is wearing her swimming suit. She was certain that this was the only appropriate apparel for vacation, and it was very difficult to get her to wear anything else.
This is what happens when you ask Annabel to look at the camera and say "cheese".
We watched the dolphin show at the aquarium. They were amazing.
The aquarium also has a splash pad that the girls played in after seeing all of the fish.
We did a little shopping at this store with the shark mouth.
Then we headed to the beach. Madison loved jumping each wave and riding on the boogie board. Annabel was terrified of the water, but she loved the sand.
On Friday, we went on a dolphin watching tour. There were dolphins around our boat almost the whole hour and a half.
The dolphins would come really close to the boat.
They also took us out to see the lighthouse.
By the end of our tour, Annabel was worn out.
On Sunday, Jared spent most of the day fishing in the bay with a guide (and his dog). He caught redfish, trout, and flounder and had a great time.
